The above picture is the property we purchased in 2001 and some of views we fell in love with.  Little did we know how much heartache and stress it was going to cause us in the future

This is after the barn has been demolished and cleared and the fence put round the property and a gate to restrict access onto the land and to the building site.  The demolition happened in December 2005 and we thought we were well on the way.  Little did we know.

The gate and fence were erected in 2002 and you would not believe the problems the gate has caused, we have been seriously distressed and harassed by our neighbours who insist that our road is a public right of way.  Which it isn't, otherwise the town council would not have granted permission to erect the gate and fences.  Yes you need permission / licence for everything here, even to change the colour of your house, no licence you run the risk of a hefty fine.

The house is well underway and this is only 19 months (7/7/07) after it had started (HAHA).  Bare in mind the contract was only for 12 months.

Picture of the house in November 2007, we are well on the way here and think that the end is nigh, not!!!!!!

Slowly but surely the house is taking shape, in this photo you can see the ramps for wheelchair access and the stairs down to the swimming pool area.  Although this looks like it is nearing completion, the bathrooms are yet to be fitted and the kitchens are to be finished, plus there is no electricity nor water.
